삼성 전자는 31일(현지시간), 신형 스마트 워치 "Samsung Gear S2"와 "Samsung Gear S2 classic"을 발표했다.
발표 된 Gear S2는 "Gear S"의 후속 기종으로, OS는 계속해서 "Tizen OS"를 탑재하고 있다.
디자인면에서는 Gear S의 둥근 사각형 모양에서 원형의 형태로 변경이 되어 있어, 본체의 베젤 부분이
회전 측면부에 배치 된 홈 버튼과 뒤로 버튼을 자유로운 위치에 고정 할 수 있도록 되어있다.

또한 삼성은 또 다른 디자인으로 고급 지향의 Gear S2 classic도 동시에 발표하고 있다.
Gear S2 classic은 기존의 시계 디자인을 선호하는 사용자를 대상으로 디자인 된 모델이 되고 있으며,
블랙으로 통일 된 본체에 가죽을 사용한 밴드로 이루어져 있다.

고급형의 Gear S2의 디자인에 대해 정반대의 클래식 모델을 라인업에 정렬하여 많은 사용자의 요구에 부응
하는 형태가 되어있다. Gear S2와 Gear S2 classic의 기능면에서 차이가 없는 Gear S2 또는 3G 모델도
준비되어 있다.
